Subject: Nice
I really dig all of the Garcia-Hunter tunes this show. The Buffalo show was on fire mainly 1973 greats, but I really would have loved to be at this one too. The boys sound great, Jeff nails it every show and Phil is supplying a womnderful locomotion with Bill and Mick. Warren could really jump on it more if he wanted to, they really have been bringing a mellow laid back flow this tour. That doesn't mean that they aren't on fire, because after stepping out of the Buffalo show my body was alive with electricity. They really do sound great!
Many thanks to the tapers, this has been a great ride so far.

Listen to some of the shows from the end of the tour, Shoreline, Gorge, Forum. The shit is off the chain. The band may have been warming up some over the first half of the tour, but there is no way to compare The Dead 2009 to Bobby & Midnites (Although I love: Haze, Haze........someone get me out of this phase) Take another listen if your not impressed, but this time change your head some.

Subject: Sooo sorry
This maybe be fun on some level but there is virtually no realtion to the Grateful Dead left in this music. Obviously the song list aside. Fun to sing along to and dance a little but at times this sounds like Bobby and the Midnights for gods sake.

Subject: Liberty sounds like "Fat Man in the Bathtub"
I'm sure these shows are fun, but I'm not hearing much of a spark. I think at times Warren sounds eerily like Jerry at his worst, when he was noodling aimlessly.

What a great sounding recording!
The band is on fire, and this is an extremely good audience recording! Well done, 5 stars for band, crowd, and taper. Great job everyone!

Subject: a box of rain will ease the pain and love will see you through
...other times you must live in doubt, when i can't help at all....
...this show is easing my skepticism that this band can rock hard and make you cry and laugh and love and sing and dance and smile..
anyway many thanks to the taper for the amazing turnaround time and the recording itself is superb!
...built to last while years roll past like cloudscapes in the sky...
